Climate Justice & Anti‑Racism Mural

After the murder of George Floyd in 2020, students in Louisville, Colorado explored how to take anti-racist and climate justice action in their own community.  They researched the history of colonization and extraction in Boulder County.  Students held several fundraisers and hired Adri Norris to create a mural which features Ava Hamilton, a local Arapaho climate activist.  The mural strives to educate the community and give citizens an opportunity to learn more about the untold history of their town.  Get in Touch with C4CA if you would like ideas on how to engage local youth in your community in anti-racism and climate justice work.
