Climate Literacy Curriculum

A new kind of curriculum...

Using a student-led pedagogy, these high school and middle school courses explore climate change and climate justice using science project-based learning.

Students will develop civic action projects by engaging with existing and new school-community collaborations.

They will develop advocacy skills through
action research to better understand local climate resilience issues. This skill development, coupled with shadowing experiences in local green jobs areas and local city and county government agencies, will help students connect with the community and demonstrate science and civic knowledge.
