Students connect with local climate phenomena and data in order to determine needed actions in their community.

Example:  After a prolonged drought in Boulder County, Colorado, a wildfire destroyed 1,000 homes.  Students researched the amount of greenhouse gasses that are being emitted from their school and embarked on a journey to find out what is needed to decarbonize their school. Students brought school district and community stakeholders together to determine a process for getting their school to net zero.
