Seek systems-level explanations and pursue system-wide changes

Understanding the causes and consequences of, and solutions to climate change means recognizing the interconnectedness of processes that shape ecosystems, including human societies, around the globe. This systems-level perspective is also necessary to collectively change the structures and inequities of our interrelated energy and food systems to mitigate the worst effects of climate change and adapt to changes we are already experiencing.
